That's right!  We are just months away to what is anticipated to be the best Independent Christian Music Festival in the Midwest.  We are keeping true to our motto, "Don't think big, think OBEDIENT!"  God is control and will continue to direct coordination of this event.

We've always gotten the question, "What signed national acts will be there?"  We can answer with confidence, "We don't know yet, and we don't know if there will ever be the big names that you see at the other festivals."  Those that usually ask that question have usually missed the entire point of the festival.  If that it is you, we'd still like you to come even if there aren't any big names and experience the power of the God moving!

Here's what we can promise you:

Admission and parking will again be FREE.  We do operate solely on a donation basis, so a little something in the "bucket" would be nice.  There are opportunities for business, churches and individuals to make donations to the cause to help out with the cost of producing the event.

Camping will be available at a nominal fee.  Some of the cheapest lodging around for the event is found right on the grounds.  Modern campsites are limited, so you'll want to commit early and get your registration in as soon as possible!  Primitive camping is unlimited and CHEAP!

The music will be plentiful, inspiring and God-honoring.  We will again feature four stages and will be booking nearly 45 bands for the event.  We will once again offer our open mic stage that will be available for anyone to come and perform at the festival...just show up, sign up, and get up!

The Headliner for the event is......Jesus!  Yes, Him again!  The focus of the event is the gathering of the Christian community to worship and work together in rebuilding the "walls".  The music will include a diverse line up of artists - there will be something for all musical tastes!  You can look forward to the return of Bread of Stone, who will be fresh off of their 2009 tour with the Newsboys!

Food, Fun, and Friendship - there will be a host of food and merchandise vendors, informational booths from area churches and ministries.  Nehemiah Fest is a kid friendly, family oriented Christian camping and music festival - there will be a kids area with activities, inflatable and standard playground equipment and much more!  Meet area Christians from around the midwest - make some lasting friendships that will be guaranteed to last an eternity.

Spread the word now!  Check out our MySpace page, grab our promo banner code and start helping to promote the event with your church, small group, and communities!  (www.myspace.com/nehemiahfest)

Nehemiah Fest III will be held Friday through Sunday, September 17-19, 2010 @ Smith's Fork Park, Smithville Lake, Smithville, MO 64089 - just north of Kansas City, MO.
