Karla Bauer is an award-winning singer, songwriter, and children’s book author deeply committed to uplifting youth in underserved and rural communities.
As a teaching artist, Karla is the passionate founder of the SHINE On Music Program, traveling to underserved and rural communities to educate, encourage, and empower youth in those targeted areas. She teaches the youth how to market their talents in the entertainment industry but more importantly how to promote themselves “safely” in a digital world.
“Have you ever been afraid of the dark? Karla Bauer’s music is that feeling you get when you turn on the light.” Karla’s fifth studio album "My King is Coming” is a combination of poetry, passion, and faith. She wrote each song to unfold like a story, capturing the moment she decided to leave the past behind her and step into the Light.
