Melody Roberts and Kathy Toney

Melody has been singing professionally for over 25 years. She is currently the worship director at Spirit of Truth Fellowship in Liberty. Kathy wrote her first song when she was 12 years old and has been on the path of writing songs about Jesus since then. She also leads worship at Vineyard Church KC North. Their paths first crossed when they met at a worship leaders event.

Christian singer/songwriter Skylar Kaylyn recalls music as “All I remember.” Growing up in a small town in Wyoming, she has acted, sung, and danced in her community since she was 6, singing and acting in her church from a very young age. After teaching herself how to play guitar when she was 12, she began to help to lead worship during church and youth group meetings.

The Wayward Kind is an acoustic driven rock band that proudly hails from the Midwestern state of Kansas. Formed in early 2018 after vocalist/guitarist Jeremy Stokely returned home from a deployment to the Middle East with a handful of songs that were written with a thankful heart. The Wayward Kind represents and roots for the lost sheep that God continues to chase and will stop at nothing to get back…because we all need saving.
